Hello, and welcome to today's episode of the mindset and manifesting podcast. So for those of you who don't know, my name is Lana. Today I want to talk about letting go of attachment. But before I do that, I wanted to let you guys know so if you're not aware, I do have a blog, and I do have a YouTube channel and you know, Facebook page and Facebook group, things like that. So, I discuss other things on my blog, my YouTube channel, in regards to a deeper meaning behind scripture, I discuss neville goddard structures, and, you know, mystical experiences, visions, things like that. So there's an array of things that I discuss in regards to my experiences the awakening process, the journey as a whole, so if you're interested, check out some of my other platforms. But for now, I want to talk about letting go of attachment. And as always, except my first few podcasts in for this platform, where I went through my some of my earlier blog posts, and kind of read through those and you know, add a little bit of commentary etc, I don't script these now. So, I knew in advance that I was going to talk about letting go of attachment today, but I did not script anything out. So, this morning, I woke up and I thought you know, let me just discuss what comes to mind because I had some things come through the first thing I want to mention is that for me, I am now in a place in a state of consciousness, you could say as an observer, primarily or right, it is a journey, life is a journey, the awakening process is a journey, so, doesn't happen all at once, right. So, we learn things, things in stages. And right now, I am primarily an observer mode, I would say for a majority of the time not 100% of the time, but a majority of the time. So, as far as attachments go from the time of our physical birth here on Earth, you know, in this human body, we become attached to things, you know, we have our parents around us, you know, perhaps siblings. So, we are taught things based on the experiences of our parents or siblings, and then as we grow up, you know, teachers, what we learned from our peers, etc. And at that time, were really a sleep, you know, having this experience in this human body and are not aware of the fact that there is really more to what we are experiencing, what we are seeing, what we are learning and I understand for some of you this may be depending on where you are in your journey. If you have not yet awakened, I understand this could be a bit of a difficult concept to grasp right now. And I completely understand that right? I have not been in this position. My entire life, you know, I was what some would say asleep, not awake for what 4047 years. Yeah, so a long time. So when it comes to attachments, what you know, we're born into this body, we're having this experience and we form these attachments. We form attachments to other people and how they make us feel or other people and how they don't make us feel if we want to feel a certain way, you know, with with individuals if we want to feel cared for, if we want to feel appreciated, love, etc. If we're not feeling those things. We may form attachments to others to to try to try to experience those things for them, right thinking that we have to change others, the government system, the pharmaceutical industry, the food industry, the media, social media, right, all of those things that social media wasn't around when I was born. But there's so many things, that we form attachments to so many things that we often believe as the Absolute Truth, and so many things that we cling to, thinking that these things are going to improve our lives, right? Until we awaken. And understand that it begins within us, it is all within us. So with that being said, as we observe the things that we observe the things that we experience, there are a couple of things going on, there are actually many things going on. But I'm not going to go too deep into into all of it. But the two main things I want to point out is that there is there are reflections, right? And what we're experiencing, so as we look at the, we could be in observer mode and understand that every experience that we encounter, everything that we see every system that we see, we can look at it as a lesson, right? And a reflection. So because everything begins within. So, for instance, now as I now as I look out, right, so for instance, the other, I've been watching this series now on Amazon Prime titled, The Wheel of Time, I think that's the title of it. And I went into watching the series. With all honesty, and this might sound kind of odd, I wanted to see what resonated with me. And what was being reflected back to me based on my knowledge, now, based on my experiences, are after awakening. So it was really interesting, because there so watching this TV show, there are certain things that like as I observe it, right. There are certain certain phrases, certain things that are said that it's as if they jump off the screen, almost. And I'm like, I resonate with that, because it correlates with certain things that I understand in regards to time not being linear, in regards to the Wheel of Time, right, the wheel of recurrent how we incarnate here, life after life, to continue this experience until we fully awaken the set, right. And again, I'm not going to get too deep into all of that, because this podcast really, originally was not meant to get too deep into the awakening process, but it's virtually impossible to touch on the subject just because of where I am in my life. So I do that with other things, right? As I encounter other people's I talk to other people, I'm able to observe what is being reflected back to me, how is this person treating me what's going on in this person's life that is teaching me something or triggering something within me that I need to work on. Right? So I'm in that observer mode, the systems that have been put into place that something as simple as and I've mentioned previously on my YouTube channel, my water belt like running my water and thinking at in sharp in childhood, I you know, I was taught Don't, don't leave the water running because it you know, resist the water bill, etc. The heater right in my house, so keep it a certain temperature. That's pretty sweet. It doesn't raise the electric bill. The weather looking outside at the weather or looking excuse me out the weather forecast online? I don't. I don't, I used to look at it every day. Now I rarely look at it. And I think, okay, for instance, this past weekend, I needed to drive up to Denver, my daughter had a choir concert. And normally what I would have done, the beginning of the week, her concert was on Saturday, at the beginning of the week, I would have looked at the weather forecast and thought, okay, the weather is not going to be great. So I'm probably not going to drive up because it's two hours up there two hours back. And I don't like driving in snow and ice. But I didn't look at the weather. I just said to myself, the weather is going to be it's going to be fine. Right? No snow, no ice is going to be great weather to dry. And that's what happened. The I don't I don't look at things like my water bill, my heat bill. My even my credit score now. Right? So I used to a couple years ago, actually, probably, yeah, three, four years ago, I would always check my credit score. And I would be so concerned whether it was going up and down. And now I'm like, I like my so for instance, my credit card, one of my credit cards I saw I pay my bills, like my credit card bill is always paid on time that that is not even an issue. But what happens is, if I use more one month it my credit score goes down what you know, a few points or whatever, which I think is ridiculous. I think the whole system is ridiculous, to be honest. But I used to I used to be so attached to those type of things, right? Any of these types of things that I just mentioned attached to checking the weather. To bill or any of these things, right? I used to be so attached to what I was seeing outside of myself externally, of the systems that have put into place what other people have told me, you know, I'm and I don't do that anymore. When I speak to other people, my neighbor, for instance, who has had quite a lot of health issues, and I love her to death but at this point in time or from the unknown, no, two years now. Whenever I speak to her and it's interesting because it has diminished quite a bit but because of her experiences, she complains a lot about what's going on with her health in the neighborhood or, and I don't want to speak too much per se something different, that she is healthy, if everything is going great in the neighborhood, blah, blah, blah. I don't I don't respond to her and I don't feed into those things I just observe and I think to myself, Okay, what is this teaching me about judgment, right. And and changing those internal conversations. So without judging her and what she's going through and feeding into that is simply listen, but I listened with a different year that she is healthy. Right? And there aren't any issues in the neighborhood, what have you and I consistently just let her know Yes. You know. The things that she is saying, just like not being attached to what's going on with the weather, not being attached with, you know, things like the credit score the whole credit system being attached to that, watching television, right, and being mildly involved with just sitting on the couch and watching television, I don't do that very often, but when I do, what happens is if I watch a show just reflecting back to me something that I have been thinking internally, or this is interesting, this is resonating with me, because it's something that I have read recently, and this coincides. So, that is how I observe and I do that was so many things now. Um, and people, right, we get attached to people, you know, for if we expect something out of them, if you can just learn to be the observer, go with and and just love unconditionally, as I talked about in a previous episode, and just come from a place of unconditional love, it takes so much of the attachment away so much of the effort, and, and just allow. So anyway, I want to go back to that observer mode and the teaching mode. So if you can, so first of all, if you can get to a point where you're spending more time like in meditation What do I believe in? Why do I believe it, and you don't have to make it like an arduous process. I've been through that. And it's not fun, but it was part of my part of my journey. Right? I didn't have anybody there to tell me, it doesn't have to be difficult, it can be really easy, just like, let go of the attachment and just observe and do it with ease without effort. And it's so much easier. If you can get into that space, and learn to observe and let go of attachment, you'll find that life is going to flow much feel more peace and more calm and more love more non judgement. And again, it just becomes easier. And trust your trust, your higher self trust, which you are tapping into internally, more so than what you are seeing outside. And what you may currently be attached to. It is a process be easy with yourself. But we're, we're all here to experience life and to awaken and to ascend, right in consciousness. So just enjoy the journey. And know that if you're stuck now you don't have to be stuck there. If you feel attached to a bunch of things, you can let go of those attachments. Alright, so Alright, I think that's it for today. Thank you so much for joining me, and I'll see you guys in the next episode. All right, bye now.
